Volleyball Recap: Whitehall Takes a Loss

Whitehall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Freedom Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Monday.

Whitehall's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Freedom, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5-2 record this season.

Whitehall will welcome Pen Argyl at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Freedom, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Pleasant Valley on the 20th.
