Basketball Game Preview: Antelope Titans vs. Kennedy Cougars

Two dominant guards in Malichai Brown and Aharon Young are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Antelope Titans will take on the Kennedy Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Antelope is headed into Friday's matchup hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-54 heartbreaker at the hands of Destiny Christian Academy.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Kennedy faced off against West Park on Wednesday. Kennedy managed a 60-56 victory over West Park. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Kennedy's win came from a few key players Antelope will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jordan Lawrence, who posted 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Qian Thorpe, who scored 15 points.

Antelope's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Kennedy, their win bumped their record up to 15-10.

Antelope was able to grind out a solid victory over Kennedy in their previous matchup back in January, winning 81-74. The rematch might be a little tougher for Antelope since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
