The Tampa Prep Terrapins entered their tilt with the Lake Wales Highlanders with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Tampa Prep walked away with a 50-42 victory over Lake Wales on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Tampa Prep also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.

Tampa Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Treniti Fluker out in front who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kimora Green, who scored 13 points.

Tampa Prep's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Lake Wales, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tampa Prep will challenge North Tampa Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. North Tampa Christian Academy will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. As for Lake Wales, they will head out on the road to face off against Davenport at 8:00 p.m. on January 16th.
