Baseball Recap: Asheville School (Independent) Comes Up Short

Anderson C hit Asheville School (Independent) with a nine-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Blues lost 13-3 to the Cavaliers. The loss continues a trend for the Blues in their meetings with the Cavaliers: they've now lost three in a row.

Asheville School (Independent) saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Holland, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Holland has launched this season. Jonas Howard was another, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
