Volleyball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Takes a Loss

Mt. Pleasant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Mt. Hope Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Kilties of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Mt. Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mt. Hope, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mt. Pleasant will take on rival Portsmouth at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mt. Hope is set to challenge their familiar foe St. Raphael Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
