Basketball Recap: Bluffton Comes Up Short

Bluffton was the 37-22 winner over Whale Branch when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Bobcats fell 30-25 to the Warriors on Saturday.

Whale Branch's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Miracle Quarles, who posted six points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Bluffton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bluffton will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on John Paul II at 6:00 p.m. on December 5. As for Whale Branch, they will challenge Beaufort at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
