She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alexandra Ramos, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chloe Wright, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Willits has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Potter Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
