Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kaylynn Walls and Brooklyn Foster Lead Mount Pisgah Christian Academy to Victory

Mount Pisgah Christian Academy entered their tilt with Cedar View Christian on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Cedar View Christian Seahawks by a score of 51-38. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 40-23 back in December of 2024.

Leading Mount Pisgah Christian Academy to victory were Brooklyn Foster and Kaylynn Walls. Foster almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds, while Walls almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards. The matchup was Walls' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Gracie Wilson was another key player, putting up nine points and seven boards.

Mount Pisgah Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.9 points per game. As for Cedar View Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Mount Pisgah Christian Academy will venture away from home to take on Berean Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cedar View Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Maryville Christian at 6:00 p.m. on February 14th.
