Soccer Recap: Olympia Takes a Loss

Olympia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Tolono Unity Rockets. Olympia were not able to make up for their defeat to Tolono Unity from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Olympia's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Tolono Unity, they moved to 2-8-2 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Coming up, Olympia will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Illinois Valley Central at 4:30 p.m. Olympia will need to watch out since Illinois Valley Central have now posted at least four goals in their last three matches. As for Tolono Unity, they will venture away from home to face off against St. Thomas More at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
