Mt. Baker is 4-0 against Granite Falls since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Mt. Baker Mountaineers will look to defend their home court against the Granite Falls Tigers at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Mt. Baker might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Burlington-Edison an easy 77-56 win. The loss continues a trend for the Mountaineers in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Granite Falls ended up a good deal behind South Whidbey on Friday and lost 55-37. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Granite Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Mt. Baker, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Mt. Baker didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Granite Falls in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 55-50 victory. Will Mt. Baker repeat their success, or does Granite Falls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
