Volleyball Game Preview: Sagemont Prep Lions vs. Monsignor Pace Spartans

The Sagemont Prep Lions will venture away from home to face off against the Monsignor Pace Spartans at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Sagemont Prep will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Sagemont Prep was able to grind out a solid victory over Everglades, taking the game 3-1.

Sagemont Prep was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 17-25, 25-19, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Monsignor Pace came up short against Lourdes Academy on Thursday and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 17-25, 25-18, 25-13.

Monsignor Pace's defeat ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 9-10. As for Sagemont Prep, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Sagemont Prep skirted past Monsignor Pace 2-1 when the teams last played back in September of 2023. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
