Softball Recap: Huron Takes a Loss

Huron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 15-1 to the Monroe Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the River Rats of the 19-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Huron saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Annie Pinsky, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Huron's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Monroe, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Huron does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Monroe, they will challenge Pinckney at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
