Kate Pieper and Kaitlyn Keener certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Pieper scored 14 points, while Keener scored ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Sophia Pitts, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.

Mitchell will be home for the holidays to greet Bayard at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Bayard is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 58 points per game.
