Basketball Recap: Thrasher Beats Pine Grove for Their 12th Straight Victory

Thrasher put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 57-49 win over the Pine Grove Panthers. While the Rebels didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Thrasher's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Pine Grove, they moved to 7-6 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thrasher will venture away from home to face off against Biggersville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pine Grove, they will head out on the road to square off against Tupelo Christian Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Pine Grove is facing Tupelo Christian Prep at the right time seeing as Tupelo Christian Prep is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
