Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Mountain View's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against O'Connor, Mountain View was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Skyline Coyotes by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-18, 19-25, 25-17, 25-18.

Skyline lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Elianna Bancroft, who had 27 assists and three blocks. She has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more assists the last 13 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Clara Lopez, who had ten kills, three blocks, and three aces.

Mountain View has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season. As for Skyline, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-16.

Mountain View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Red Mountain on the 22nd. As for Skyline, they will challenge Mesa at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
