Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mt. Carmel). They were the clear victors by a 20-2 margin over the Valley Center Jaguars on Wednesday. The Sundevils have beaten the Jaguars the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Jaguars has come to flipping the script.
Riley Ronald made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 5-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.
