Basketball Recap: Winthrop Takes a Loss

Winthrop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 67-50 to the Stoneham Spartans.

Winthrop's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Winthrop will finish 2024 at home by hosting North Reading at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Stoneham will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Saugus at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
