After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Victory Christian, Comer was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Central of Coosa County Cougars as they made off with a 12-1 victory. With that win, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Lauren Cook, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Harrison, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Comer always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .591. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Comer's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Central of Coosa County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
