Basketball Recap: South Rowan Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Rowan lost against Northwest Cabarrus back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Raiders were beaten by the Trojans 76-46. The Raiders were down 58-32 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Anderson Pauley and Maverick Morgan certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Pauley posted 14 points, while Morgan earned 12 points.

South Rowan's loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Northwest Cabarrus, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 2-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Rowan will take on South Stanly in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Northwest Cabarrus and Mooresville will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Blue Devils have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
