After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jemison, Selma was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Carver Montgomery Wolverines by a score of 14-9. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Saints as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Selma's victory bumped their record up to 5-10-1. As for Carver Montgomery, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Selma will welcome Montevallo at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Carver Montgomery, they will square off against Parker at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
