Basketball Recap: Konos Academy Takes a Loss

Konos Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Rocket City on Saturday. The Condor were dealt a 67-40 defeat at the hands of the Falcons.

Konos Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Gaines Casey, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 13 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jackson McFadden, who posted ten points.

Konos Academy now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Rocket City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Konos Academy is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Creekside Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rocket City, they will square off against Master's Hand Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
