Volleyball Recap: Topsail Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Coastal Christian on Thursday, Topsail came back down to earth. The Pirates lost 3-0 to the D.H. Conley Vikings on Tuesday.

Topsail was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 25-22.

Kaili Grenier paced Topsail's offense, picking up ten kills. Grenier got some help from Hannah Losey and her 23 assists. Losey also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Audrey Johnson, racking up two apiece.

Topsail now has a losing record of 1-2. As for D.H. Conley, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Topsail didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Wilmington Christian Academy on the 22nd. As for D.H. Conley, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Ashley on the 20th.
