Savannah Country Day lost against Richmond Hill back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hornets lost 3-0 to the Wildcats. The Hornets' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Charlie Hawkins paced Savannah Country Day's offense, picking up seven kills. Hawkins got some help from Boots Buckler and her five assists. Sophie Meyers controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Among those leading the charge was Kylee Gilbert, who had 15 digs. That's the most digs she has posted since back in August.

Savannah Country Day's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Richmond Hill, their victory was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 32-2.

Savannah Country Day has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against McIntosh County Academy on the 1st. As for Richmond Hill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Lowndes on the 30th.
