Baseball Recap: Pickett County Comes Up Short

Pickett County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-2 to the Livingston Academy Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bobcats have suffered since March 25, 2024.

Eli Reagan was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Pickett County's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Livingston Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Pickett County will challenge York Institute at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Livingston Academy, they will welcome Upperman at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
