Soccer Recap: Kellogg Takes a Loss

Kellogg and Saugatuck pushed the score to 5-3 the last time they played Saugatuck, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trailblazers. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Kellogg couldn't quite close it out.

Kellogg has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Saugatuck, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kellogg will host Constantine at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Saugatuck, they will take on Fennville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
