Soccer Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Lincoln was not quite Jefferson's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 1-0. Lincoln were not able to make up for their loss to Jefferson from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-2. As for Jefferson, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will venture away from home to take on Lewis Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Jefferson, they will head out to square off against Sioux City East at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
