Osceola came into Wednesday's matchup looking for another win against Dunedin, but SHERWIN SIMMONS wouldn't allow it. The Dunedin Falcons snuck past the Osceola Warriors with a 50-46 win on Wednesday thanks in part to SIMMONS, who shot 5-for-8 from deep and almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. He has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 17 times he's played.

Despite the loss, Osceola still got an impressive performance from Talon Brooks, who posted 19 points in addition to six boards and five steals. Osceola is 12-6 when Brooks posts three or more steals, but 2-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Rhett Iglinski, who earned seven points and six rebounds.

Dunedin pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Osceola, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-9 record.

Dunedin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-37 win against Palm Harbor University on the 24th. As for Osceola, they will head out to face off against Clearwater Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clearwater Central Catholic will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Osceola surely won't give up without a fight.
