Soccer Game Preview: Union County vs. Scott

The Union County Patriots will take on the Scott Highlanders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Union County will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Union County's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Cherokee. Two seems to be a good number for Union County as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Shaqueal Rich and Brody Williams scored both of Union County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Scott). They blew past Claiborne 6-0 on Friday. The win continues a trend for Scott in their matchups with Claiborne: they've now won four in a row.

The victory got Union County back to even at 4-4-1. As for Scott, their win bumped their record up to 2-3-2.
