Softball Recap: Exeter Township Comes Up Short

The Exeter Township Eagles came up short against the Conrad Weiser Scouts on Friday and fell 8-5. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Exeter Township saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marion Eagle, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Jillian Warner also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Exeter Township's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Conrad Weiser, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Looking ahead, Exeter Township will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Hempfield at 11:00 a.m. As for Conrad Weiser, they are taking a road trip to square off against Lancaster Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
