Basketball Recap: Everglades City Skates Past Marco Island Academy with Ease

Everglades City's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 67-38 victory over the Marco Island Academy Rays. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Gators as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Everglades City's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Marco Island Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Mason Classical Academy the next time they take the court. Everglades City will host Mason Classical Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Marco Island Academy will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
