Volleyball Recap: Muncie Central's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Elwood on Wednesday, Muncie Central came back down to earth. The Bearcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Maconaquah Braves on Saturday. The loss put an end to the Bearcats' undefeated start to the season.

Their offense was headlined by Chloe Miller and Kendall Kahle, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Grace Walker and her five assists. Haeley Rollins controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Muncie Central fell to 2-1. As for Maconaquah, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Muncie Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Kokomo on the 23rd. As for Maconaquah, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Eastern on the 23rd.
