Soccer Recap: West Craven Comes Up Short

West Craven lost against Washington on April 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles came up short against the Pam Pack, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, West Craven can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 506th, while Washington are ranked 214th).

West Craven's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Washington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2-1.

West Craven and Washington will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Eagles see the pitch they'll take on Greene Central at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Washington, their break will end when they face SouthWest Edgecombe at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th.
