If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Nashoba Regional. They will challenge Algonquin Regional on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Nashoba Regional are cruising in on a four-game winning streak while Algonquin Regional are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses.

Nashoba Regional came out on top in a nail-biter against Marlborough, sneaking past 16-13.

Meanwhile, Algonquin Regional have to be hurting after a devastating 0-28 defeat at the hands of Shepherd Hill Regional last Saturday. Algonquin Regional were down by 0-21 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Nashoba Regional took their game against Algonquin Regional the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 21-0 score.
