Baseball Recap: Martin Luther Comes Up Short

Martin Luther lost against Catholic Memorial on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Spartans might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 6-1 to the Crusaders, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Martin Luther's defeat dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Catholic Memorial, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-18.

Martin Luther does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Catholic Memorial, they will take on Whitnall on Tuesday. The Falcons' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Crusaders' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
