Olympia won the last time they faced Dr. Phillips and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Titans came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 7-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Makenna Rossi spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits.

On the hitting side, Hannah Vartti was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Elizabeth Aguilar, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Olympia's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Dr. Phillips, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olympia will be taking part in a tournament against Apopka at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Darters' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Titans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Dr. Phillips, they will take on Evans in a tournament on Friday. The Trojans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.6 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
