If Chavez was feeling good fresh off their 41-17 takedown of Wonderful College Prep Academy last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chavez Titans came up short against the Kerman Lions on Friday, falling 70-50. The Titans' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Daniel Bibioff continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Kerman, going 13 for 18 on his way to 38 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Bibioff's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Von Bibioff, who posted 13 points along with six boards and five steals.

Chavez's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Kerman, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Chavez didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-56 loss against Madera on the 14th. As for Kerman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 81-39 win against Firebaugh on the 14th.
