Football Recap: Lebanon Yellowjackets vs. Jefferson City Jays        
        
		
             With a playoff game on the line, Lebanon rose to the challenge  on Friday. They breezed by the Jefferson City Jays to the tune of  49-7. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won six contests by 21  points or more  so far this season.
  Jax Glendenning continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 400 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 22.2 yards per carry, and also throwing for 31 yards and a touchdown. His longest rush was for an incredible 90 yards.  Beckett York was another key player, rushing for seven yards and a touchdown.
 Lebanon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Brody Shoemaker.
 Lebanon was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 528  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 The  win (which was Lebanon's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-4. As for Jefferson City, their defeat was  their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 3-7.
 Lebanon will venture away from home to  square off against Capital City  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Capital City will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more  points each  game than the last. Jefferson City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
