Football Game Preview: Swan Valley Vikings vs. Bridgeport Bearcats + How To Watch

Swan Valley is a perfect 6-0 against Bridgeport since October of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Vikings will head out to challenge the Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Swan Valley has three straight wins, Bridgeport has 11 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Swan Valley humbled Garber with a 42-6 victory. Considering the Vikings have won four games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Swan Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kam Reynolds and Maxwelll Miller. Reynolds is on a roll when it comes to interceptions, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Bridgeport faced off against Glenn on Friday. The Bearcats took a blow against the Bobcats, falling 62-0. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 461st, while the Bobcats are ranked 177th).

Bridgeport's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Swan Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Everything came up roses for Swan Valley against Bridgeport in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 41-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
