Baseball Recap: Boonsboro Takes a Loss

Boonsboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Clear Spring Blazers, falling 12-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blazers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 back in March.

Parker Debaugh made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 3-for-4. Carson Rhodes was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run.

Boonsboro's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Clear Spring, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Boonsboro will square off against Brunswick at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Clear Spring, they will take on Williamsport on Wednesday.
