Findlay has been on the road for two straight, but on Saturday they'll finally head home. They will welcome the Elida Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. Findlay will be strutting in after a win while Elida will be coming in after a defeat.
Having struggled with five losses in a row, Findlay finally turned things around against Napoleon on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Wildcats.
Findlay found their leader in underclassman Ankia Helms, who had 11 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Helms has posted in her last seven contests.
Meanwhile, Elida was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Memorial.
Elida was not held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-11, 25-18.
Findlay's win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Elida, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.
