Soccer Recap: A.L. Brown Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The A.L. Brown Wonders didn't have quite enough to beat the Olympic Trojans on Tuesday and fell 3-2. While losing is never fun, A.L. Brown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 304th, while Olympic are ranked 146th).

Chris Santiago-Vargas and Oliver Alvarez scored both of A.L. Brown's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

A.L. Brown's loss dropped their record down to 3-9-2. As for Olympic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4-3.

Looking ahead, A.L. Brown will host Cox Mill at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Olympic, they will face off against Harding University at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Olympic will be up against Harding University's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.1 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
