It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Elkton/Lake Benton had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Bon Homme Cavaliers 8-7. That's two games straight that Elkton/Lake Benton has won by just one run.

For Bon Homme's part, Kenadee Kozak was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up six earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits.
