It was a good run, but Buena Vista unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Papillion-LaVista South Titans by a score of 2-1. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of three yellow cards before it was all over: Buena Vista's Nestor Martinez Silva and Papillion-LaVista South's Jude Anderson and Caden Jarosz were all carded.

Buena Vista's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Papillion-LaVista South, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Buena Vista is set to take on their familiar foe Millard North at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Papillion-LaVista South will face off against rival Lexington at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
