Softball Recap: Sycamore Comes Up Short

Sycamore's last matchup with Hamilton could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Monday. The Aviators came up short against the Big Blue, falling 12-0. The Aviators haven't had much luck with the Big Blue recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Sycamore's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Hamilton, their victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sycamore will head out to square off against Archbishop McNicholas at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Aviators' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rockets have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Hamilton, they will square off against Springboro at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
