Basketball Recap: Essien Lockleer Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Athens Academy

Commerce won the last time they faced Athens Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Commerce Tigers strolled past the Athens Academy Spartans with points to spare, taking the game 62-45. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Commerce's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Essien Lockleer led the charge by going 5 of 9 on his way to 11 points and seven assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Peters, who posted ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
