Volleyball Recap: TEACH Tech Charter Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Alliance Health Services Academy, TEACH Tech Charter was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past University Pathways Medical Magnet 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against University Pathways Medical Magnet back in March, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

TEACH Tech Charter had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 12-25, 25-23, 25-20, 15-11.

TEACH Tech Charter now has a winning record of 6-5. As for University Pathways Medical Magnet, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. TEACH Tech Charter will face off against rival Magnolia Science Academy Carson at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, University Pathways Medical Magnet is set to take on their familiar foe Alliance Health Services Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
