Basketball Recap: Woodland Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Woodland's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They secured a 65-59 W over the Andrews Yellowjackets. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wolverines as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Chris Stewart and Vincent Rhue certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Stewart dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards, while Rhue posted 12 points. The dominant performance gave Stewart a new career-high in points. Kayden Dorsey was another key player, putting up five points along with six assists and five rebounds.

Woodland's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Andrews, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
