Basketball Recap: Johnson County Sports Association Takes a Loss

Johnson County Sports Association was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 55-24 defeat at the hands of Non Varsity Tournament Opponent. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent this season, with their most recent loss being a 49-15 defeat on Saturday.

Despite the loss, Johnson County Sports Association still got an impressive performance from Haylee Flaniken, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards. Flaniken has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last three times she's played. Lilliana Bertram was another key player, putting up four points.

Johnson County Sports Association's loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Coming up, Johnson County Sports Association will head out on the road to challenge Cornerstone Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Non Varsity Tournament Opponent, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 44-17 defeat against All Saints Episcopal School on the 6th.
