Bell County barely beat Barbourville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bobcats were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Tigers on Wednesday. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Bell County got a massive performance out of Holden Clark, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave Clark a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cooper Brock, who went 1-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Bell County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive games.

Bell County's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-8. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Barbourville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bell County will square off against McCreary Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raiders have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for Barbourville, they will face off against Rockcastle County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
