Basketball Recap: Pleasant Hope Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Pleasant Hope entered their tilt with Spokane on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Spokane Owls 67-47. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while the Owls are ranked 507th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pleasant Hope is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points per game. As for Spokane, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.
